A sought-after preacher, thinker, and pastor, Lizzie’s writing and ministry have been featured in Teen Vogue, The New Republic, Thrillist, Church Anew, and more. Her debut book, God Didn’t Make Us to Hate Us: 40 Devotions to Liberate Your Faith from Fear and Reconnect with Joywon the Gold Medal for Best Devotional in the 2025 Illumination Book Awards.

Her next book, You Are God’s Work of Art, is a children’s book with Beaming Books illustrated by Natalia Bruno, and will hit the shelves September 7, 2027. She is currently writing her subsequent nonfiction book under the brilliant editorial support of Stephanie Duncan Smith at HarperOne, provisionally titled: How to Have Joy When the World is Falling Apart, due out in early 2028.

Dr. Tamice Spencer-Helms (they/them) is a social architect, theologian, and mystic whose work on the R.E.S.T. Mixtape reframes Black spiritual traditions as world-building tools and fodder for post-Christian formation. Tamice is the Community Griot at Everytable Ministries in Richmond, VA; Lead Pastor of The Clearing, an online community of practice carved out for spiritual fugitives; and a professor at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, where they teach social analysis, community engagement, and master’s-level capstone courses.

Tamice’s publications include the debut memoir Faith Unleavened: The Wilderness Between Trayvon Martin & George, and their work has been featured in outlets such as God’s Stories for God’s Children, Hospicing Whiteness in Presbyterian Outlook, with an upcoming contribution to a theological anthology with Eerdmans. Tamice is also the creative director and host of Black Modern Mystic, a podcast that uses audiovisual storytelling to educate toward social transformation through a queer Black womanist lens. Through writing, teaching, and community practice, they build new wineskins for liberation, embodiment, and collective flourishing.

Rev. Jess Floyd Cook is the Community Chaplain for Every Table, a spiritual community in Richmond, VA focused on healing from the ways white supremacy, capitalism, and religion have torn us apart. Jess’s call is to help facilitate spaces where embodied reconciliation is possible, with the acknowledgement that reconciliation is only possible if we are honest with ourselves and one another about the ways in which we are separated. True reconciliation requires relationships, and relationships require trust and vulnerability. Jess sees their role as helping make spaces where that vulnerability is celebrated and trust can be built. A native of East Texas, Jess holds a Master of Divinity from Union Presbyterian Seminary, a Master of Fine Art in Photography from the University of North Texas, and a Bachelor of Fine Art in Studio Arts from Baylor University. Jess was the first openly trans / non-binary person ordained as a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Dr. Acosta brings over 14 years of experience serving children, adults, and families across New York City's diverse neighborhoods. Holding a Master's Degree from New York University and a PhD in Clinical Psychology, she is trained in hypnosis, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed CBT, problem-solving therapy, interpersonal therapy, crisis intervention, and bereavement, with additional post-Master's certificates in Advanced Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis. Her areas of expertise include grief, parenting, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders among adolescents and adults.
